I think this will be my spring project. I have a few DVD players in the garage and I'm sure one works, or I can fix one, and I'll start hunting down kids DVDs and start rewatching all my old favorites I already have in a box!

Heartwood hotel books are really sweet. Animals and nature and some daring rescues.

My kids have loved the little house books. We live in a little house in the big woods ourselves. We recently read Alice in wonderland (one of my top favorites) and my kids really did not enjoy it. Maybe later. My fathers dragon stands out as a favorite for all of us.

I agree here. Any small act of resistance, any org saying they won't change the name, is resisting and it needs to happen at all levels. Big resistance and small it all matters. It binds us together and shows us where we can put our trust and who is on our side.
