Nice idea. SEGA had some method of making QTE events progressively easier I recall around 2001, if you kept getting stuck. Never a complete skip though.

Weird times to see the Turing Test soundly passed by some chat-bots. And yet, the intelligence seems very wobbly.

I think both are true (plus upbringing etc.). The state allowed the universities to run as freely as they did back then. The state supported work at Bletchley and the NPL (plus the other less-sung geniuses there) key to his legend. A genius among many others. No man an island.

Future generations may end up seeing Turing as a villain when it comes to his contribution to AI and computing. Especially so if we end up in some jobless dystopia.
