Goldsmith isn't interested in evidence.

Disgusting. His age should not be a factor, it just means he has been abusing women for longer than a younger person.

Crowing on his own dunghill again. What an obnoxious person he is.

NZ First is now consistently using nazi catchphrases in party political statements. you'd think that media *at least* would be pillorying him for this, and yet...

Ugh. Delicate phalanges. You will have to become a dictator!

Wishing you well Sarah. I work in a medical history library and museum. Whenever I have something procedure or surgery-ish coming up I look at the cases of medical instruments and thank human curiosity that I am alive now and not "then". It's still not easy though, if it's a big thing. ❀️

Yes, and we do, when we can afford it. And I agree with the stuff columnist, it became more angry and more messy after Covid (lots of people are still struggling with this life changing experience), and then there was the gutting of housing and support services post 2023 election.

It's just blowing a gale here in Tāmaki Makaurau. What's left of the big trees are sighing and whooshing, and all the back windows are creaking. The laundry drying rack nose-dived 3 times before I finally admitted defeat and brought it in.

Heard him on RNZ earlier implying that some rulers may not be entitled to the protection of international law. So that puts him a whisker in front, in my book. Unless she says something worse.

We live on the only habitable planet for light centuries around. We have ecosystems that can thrive in the harshest climates + conditions in ways that we know nothing about. We could engineer prosperity and happiness for absolutely everyone. So we keep allowing psychopaths to run the place.

I'd put her a couple of points behind Seymour though.

Fairly dreadful, and always attacking/blaming someone else. I wish they would all go away, not just her.

4 iran analysis stories on the Stuff home page, only the one about a Kiwi family in the Gulf is not a telegraph reprint.

3 of these 4 stories are reprints from the Telegraph. Outsourcing foreign policy analysis to a paper as nakedly ideological as that - and not informing readers until the END of the analysis - is A Choice that I think reflects poorly on stuff.

Yes I think that is true. My daughter was working for Healthline at the time and people knew the drill. But it didn't mean that they stuck to it in the same way as in the first lock down.

Son and partner transiting through Dubai from NZ when the airspace closed. Their flight from here was delayed, or they would be home by now. Very worrying, but they are safe at the moment. So yes, thinking about and feeling for all those stuck there.

My son and partner were there until a couple of hours ago. Now in an hotel. Very concerned.

Oh FFS Terminal 3 has been hit. That's the Emirates terminal. Thank goodness they are out of there.

Well this is fine, my son and girlfriend are on the ground ( thank goodness) in Dubai. Their flight the rest of the way home is "delayed". #kikorangi

Families are starving!! This is not hyperbole. The Salvation Army is a conservative organisation. The Government’s latest response to the dire situation people are finding themselves in is to jail homeless people - many of whom they made homeless. #nzpol

Ffs. Vote for people that really care.

I don't think she was even trying, tbh.

I arrived on the shores of Aotearoa over 12 years ago. Every year there have been cuts to public research and redundancies of public researchers. I cannot overstate how dire this is and how much of our future we are losing.
Public research is one way we look after one another. It matters. #NZPOL
