This is quite some list. Might come in handy, so I've saved it.
Winston Peters and David Seymour aren't interested in facts but every media outlet in this country should be calling them out for deliberately spreading disinformation #nzpol
It truly is. Son and partner elected to fly to Nelson from Wellington and pick up a new rental car recently rather than risk the ferry. They were time poor and couldn't risk it.
Tempting.
The real lesson from Covid is that our media with print absolute bullshit like it is truth and post truth social media amplifies all kinds of bollocks at the rate of a wild fire #NZPol
Appropriate today. #nzpol
True. It was a good argument, but they lost their nerve.
Yes! There were half a dozen Nat and Act billboards for every Labour or Greens one in my electorate during the run up to the last election.

Not a single right-wing NZ politician has said that the Covid Inquiries will provide useful research for dealing with future pandemics, making their criticisms transparently and exclusively about discrediting the previous government and not about concern for the population. #nzpol
Sunhat? NZ Nature co and Norsewear have lots of NZ made clothes. The Garden Party and Fantail House have NZ themed things and good e-commerce sites.
If hell exists I hope it has a special circle for the spiritually prideful ones who think the Iran war is a gateway to Christ's return.
Spoiler lesson - God exits, it ain't you.
The Outermost House : a year of life of the great beach of Cape Cod / by Henry Beston. My son bought me this for Christmas - the land/seascape is the main character.

Absolutely agree. My son & partner were stuck in Dubai. They have had a truly horrible time. But they were very grateful that they were housed and fed, and they knew that they were lucky, compared with so many others. I can't believe the rubbish that is being shoveled out.
National is currently trying to spam you with the covid enquiry findings-pointing out Auckland was in lockdown too long and Labour spent money on โnon covidโ stuff. This is a distraction. Think of how many more people would have died if they were in charge of it. #nzpol #crational #red26 #lyingluxon
#nzpol NZCTU Te Kauae Kaimahi President @sandragreynzctu.bsky.social is calling on Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety Brooke van Velden to pause the proposed reform of the Holidays Act and listen to the concerns of workers:
Interestingly, it looks like UK MPs rejected it last night. But I'm sure the government there won't give up on the idea.

Shane Jones's lunch?
The nasal drawl, with the lecturing tone. It's pretty awful. But then again BVV carefully cultivated tones are not great either. I bet she can sound like MAF wife, if she doesn't get what she wants.
It was a party conversation. He's a retired GP. I assume they both know what they are doing, but I thought it was bizzare.
