When I was 16 or so I stumbled onto his work. The one that impacted me most was when I rented the pilot episode of Twin Peaks on (I believe) VHS. I watched the whole show and became so obsessed I had to show all my friends. I watched it at least 2 or 3 times after to share the love with others.
