Cross-stitching is slow, but it helps calm me down. As long as the thread works with me, rather than against me. This is my first time working with 18ct Aida fabric. It's proven to be a challenge, but it's one I enjoy! My eyes though? My eyes will hate me.

I feel so seen 🤩

Streaming has helped as I get my social battery charged by talking with you all, and I'm sure once work starts it'll balance out the loneliness. It's still pretty hard of a slap in the face. Glad unpacking keeps me somewhat busy! And don't get me wrong, I'm extremely excited to live here. No regrets

Moving to a whole new town +500km away has its downsides. Nobody prepared me for the bittersweet loneliness you feel as you don't have all your friends near you, and the fact you don't wanna bother people you know in the town because they have their respective lives. Just me? Cool.

A pile of random items that we will use during my Twitch stream today to make tatting shuttles out of household objects. Some items: cardboard boxes, a sour cream container, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, clothespins, hair clips, and scissors and glue.
