Book cover for becoming a researcher, making the transition to graduate school

My partner co-wrote a book about becoming a researcher and it's a great resource for students and mentors alike! πŸ§ͺ

A young (approx. 1m long) Mola mola fish, a large rectangular fish with a blunt nose, no apparent tail, and two large winglike fins towards the rear of its body. This one is pale, nearly white, with a blue eye. It is lolling on its side at the surface of the ocean & is photgraphed from above, from the deckmof the boat i was on

Here's a young ocean sunfish (Mola mola) i was blessed to see and photograph several years ago when i was working as a fisheries observer. It lolled around the boat for a while, then righted itself & swam off surprisingly fast, using its powerful dorsal & anal fins 😻πŸ§ͺ

Finally moving here from the other network. Not sure what's going on though.
