While Republicans have undermined the security of elections across the country, our LG has stood up against the politics. HB 529 was an attempt to remove her from the picture by hiding the ball and saying this is about policy not personality. I'm glad I was able to stop this bill in its tracks.

While there are several high profile instances of murder committed with a firearm on campuses in Utah in recent years, Republicans deny there's a problem and want to expand access. Rather than address real problems with real evidence, what we're seeing is a pattern of putting politics over people.
Donald Trump has taken a jackhammer to regular Americans' health, safety, and financial security all to the benefit of his billionaire friends. This State of the Union Address was a national embarrassment, and we need Democrats in Congress who are willing to call it out.
