Oh it was AMAZING! The otaku goodness, all the anime, retro gaming, the gatchapons, the history, the tea, the kombinies, the efficiency of public transport, the shrines, THE AFFORDABILITY! We stopped in a shop on the way home from Dublin last night and bawlked at the cost of what we got!

It had been over 23 years since we had been anywhere for a holiday outside of Ireland and not just travelling for medical care. 2025 was also a horribly difficult year, so it was nice to just get away and go on our dream holiday, we have both wanted to go to Japan since we first met! 🥰
