Coming from the pre-2.0 days, this is also what happened to scores upon scores of forums, chat rooms, and community websites when Twitter and the like came on the scene.

It's heart-wrenching when anyone realizes they can never go home again, but at least this time, it's because nature is healing. ❤️

Unfortunately I've noticed the algorithms, particularly Google's, are getting devilishly clever. There is a lot of disconcerting cross-recommendations going on between my mainstream accounts and my macro alts, despite my efforts.
