There's def a disconnect between the optimism and continued cuts to higher ed. And we do sometimes collect feedback or reader engagement metrics on these kinds of things. But not always. Bottom line, I'm always interested in where the modern university is going. TBD.

Interesting but I might argue that "talking to ourselves" is actually legit and important given the size of many institutions is akin to medium-sized cities. Internal stakeholders relations etc. It's not all public-facing branding, nor should it be. But as I said, I'm also sympathetic to your take.
