I have two little brothers, and all three of us got copies of Red/Blue the day it came out. We only had 2 Game Boys, so we had to keep swapping off throughout the first week. It was so exciting.

My brother ONLY used his Blastoise so he destroyed me during every fight lol.

I was 13 when Pokemon Red came out, and I'm pretty sure I basically hit puberty the week after -- meaning I can say that Pokemon was JUST BARELY a part of my childhood haha.

It was really big. Nintendo Power had been hyping it for months, and the anime had been out for weeks. I was sooooo excited.

It's gotta be!!

... it'll probably actually be a horse though, what with the year of the horse and all... maybe?
