I got Future Days but at what cost
Genuinely why is this even a question. Are people in THIS much of a moral panic? Buy your damn used books.
I am glad I’m not the only one that feels this way. I tapped out after they skipped Future Days tbh

They somehow took the worst of both by keeping things mostly the same, but removing the few redeeming qualities of the original game (the music/guitar) misportraying vital story beats (borderline villainizing Joel and removing the gray area the OG is known for), and—
options and they somehow took the worst of both.
A. Keep everything the same and piss off not only the people who enjoyed the game, but the people who are coming to the show for the first time with fresh eyes.
B. Change things and piss off the people that actually enjoyed the game, alienating —
there were always going to be tantrums about it.)
They cast America’s sweetheart Pedro Pascal and then make him suffer through a long and agonizing (and debatably more brutal) death in the second episode of the season which was always going to piss people off.

The last of us season 2 was never going to succeed.

The game was divisive as it was, with the unmentionable thing happening and some of the story decisions that were made. (One of these being Ellie’s romance. Don’t agree with the discourse of course but the fact is—
So am I the only one cranky about the fact that they seem to be cutting the music from The Last of Us Season 2? Future Days? Take on me? Nah, genuinely screw that.
Well then say that. But if that is your actual intent you need to clarify that at the risk of being extremely tone deaf.
I’m not gonna say both aren’t bad. But it’s like choosing between a stab wound and a shot gun blast to the face. One is guaranteed to kill you, one you can possibly work out in your favor. Either way you’re going to bleed, but at least one way you won’t be dead.
