OH ALSO if you're like me and are experiencing weekly symptoms, reducing or removing foods that cause you inflammation can be a huge help! what those foods are will vary on the individual. for me it was mostly gluten, as it turns out i'm allergic.

please get care if you have suspicions that you may have it. you will not be wasting anyone's time. read up on endometriosis and advocate for yourself; if you struggle, bring someone to your appointments who can help you advocate for yourself. you deserve to be taken seriously. (11/11)

endometriosis if left unchecked can be far more than just a bad period. i suffer from pain, bowel issues, mood swings, hot flashes + cold chills, fatigue and brain fog weekly. it begins around your pelvic region but has the potential to grow anywhere in your body if left to spread. (10/11)

other people may experience very little symptoms outside of their periods and be at stage 4.

stage 4 endometriosis is characterized by how much damage, scare tissue, cysts and lesions are on your insides and if your internal organs have any fusing because of scare tissue. (9/11)

pain is not a reliable indicator for what stage of endometriosis you may have. some people, like me, have what is considered a low end stage of endometriosis but are still experiencing debilitating symptoms daily. (8/11)

finding a real endometriosis specialist can be extremely difficult, but look for one if you can as they will provide you the best possible care. the nearest one to me is 2hrs away. the drive is worth it if you can do it. (7/11)

endometriosis can and will grow even if you've had a radical hysterectomy. you DO NOT need a hysterectomy if you don't want one, don't let a doctor push you into this without weighing the pros and cons first. (6/11)

surgeries can be excision or ablation of the lesions and scar tissue, or a hysterectomy. ablation is less effective than excision surgery for removal of lesions/scar tissue, and while a hysterectomy can help alleviate symptoms it DOES NOT make the endometriosis go away. (5/11)

there is no cure currently. treatment options are symptom and pain management through medicine and surgery. symptom management will vary. they're likely to have you try birth control first. birth control can be very effective but it will depend on the individual. (4/11)

if you can find a specialist, they can do imaging like MRIS and ultrasounds to diagnose you. however, they MUST be a specialist. if they don't know what they're doing it will be a waste of your time. (3/11)

if you are unable to find specialists in the field, a laparoscopy is your best and quickest way to a diagnosis. but it's still a surgery even if a minimally invasive one. (2/11)

still considering writing a short fic about Rosahni's canon end to Astarion's arc, since the game didn't handle it the way i would have liked to see. it will be 👏 nothing but 👏 TEARS 👏

truthfully the "relationship" with Gale started for much the same reasons Astarion starts one with your character, and evolved similarly.

i'm avoiding a lot of specific spoilers but i can tell you my playthrough was VERY tragic.
