As an adopted scouse, I'm disgusted. It's as if they got a Colombian to play an Uruguayan - we're nothing alike.
But nothing surprising, they made a Brazilian play Pablo Escobar in Narcos, and most of the main cast wasn't even Colombian.
These people have no respect for culture.
So I think the thing that annoys me most about the recently announced #beatles movie is that none of the actors cast as the Beatles are Scouse.
This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that almost every time there's a Scouse character, they never stay Scouse for the adaptation.
