retaliation or resentment is certainly not a boundary, though both might point towards a boundary you should have set for yourself so that you didn’t have to reach that point.
which is not to say they’re not relevant in relational contexts, but a boundary definitionally can’t reach out of you and dictate someone else’s behaviour, whereas it might be a behaviour you commit yourself to to ameliorate interpersonal lack of consideration etc.
