Yes. If I were to make a list like this, I'm sure there would be some rankings that other ARMYs strongly disagree with, because there are some ARMY favorites that are not among *my* favorites though I still like those songs.

I have been able to experience two songs in concert that I never thought I would be able to. Yoongi's The Last, and Jin's Abyss. Two songs that talk so strongly about mental unhealth and fighting it and yourself and the world matter so much to me. I thought they would never be played live.

🚨🚨🚨 Panic stream DSYLM

BTS held the record for most streamed song by a K-Act on Spotify for 12 years. 2025 is at series risk. We need to protect this record and the only way is streaming DSYLM focussed playlists.
We are not just aiming to beat the current No 1 but No 3 Golden is gaining.

The bottom seven songs are also one song per member. This explains why "Background", "Blue", and "Somebody" are there. The other four have skits and intros and interludes to be relegated in these low rankings, but Jin, Tae, and JK only have songs from their albums.

1. I just love his voice on this song

2. I see him singing it all alone, without his members, just like how he held down the fort alone for half a year (including while Hobi prepare his singles/tour)

I can somewhat rank songs for each member, but creating a compiled list for all solo songs? I mean, how do I rank The Last (emotionally impactful as a personal story) against Letter (emotionally impactful [for me] as a fan song)? Stop (my world view) against I'll Be There (my happy song)?

The BTS universe is vast and rich and unlike anything else in the history of pop music. The seven musicians are prolific as a group and as individuals, creating smart, fun music that encourages listeners to think and dance, laugh and cry, bliss out and emit primal screams. While these artists mesh together beautifully as BTS, there’s something really special about what they are creating separately. This list is a celebration of that story.

even tho I don't agree with most of the writer's choices (People is way too low for my liking), I think this paragraph summaries the main intention of the article, the celebration of chapter 2.

How many groups in the world are successful both as group and as solo artists, Only BTS, Only 7 of them.

All seven members have one song in the top 7, and the next 7, and the next.

The Top 21 in this list contains exactly three songs from each member. I acknowledge the effort to not favor any one particular member in the top rankings, appreciating them equally.

So here’s what I’d like to happen before Bangtan comes out with a new album. I want them to cover at least one song from another BTS member.

Personally, I would like to see:

* Namjoon do Super Tuna solely because he can be so serious sometimes and Super Tuna is the complete opposite.

This isn't an official RS ranking as it's by 1 author. I think it does a great job sparking fandom conversation and bringing GP attn to all the great solo work you may have missed if your attention to them waned with the hiatus. It doesn't actually matter what is ranked where to be a good article.

I get that everyone's ranking is different, but that choice of My You is a puzzler for me too.
