Ummm im not sure Im not really a Silent hill expert I only recently played through 2 and 3. Also the mainline games are in the same universe but only some are sequels to others. Silent Hill 2 im pretty sure is a standalone as well, in that it doesn't really impact the stories of the other games.

I also got in water! I kind of just assumed that the harder ending to get would be the truer one and I still really like in water, but leave ending is so good. Also the comparison of the reading of the letter at the start of the game compared to the end of the game is magical.

Getting sufficient ammo early on is real rough 😭, throwing was nice because throwables were really easy to make early on but super boring through midgame bc you only got the super good upgrades late game after hydroplant
