He is not doing a good job. He is the leader and is clearly not leading.

@democrats.senate.gov you let us down. You betrayed your constituents. We won't forget the cowardice of the eight Senators who voted to raise healthcare costs for Americans and the leader who wasn't strong enough to stop them.

I do blame the party for keeping an ineffective leader in place. It's their watch. It's their fault.

I don't want it to be a minor footnote. I want it to be a warning to future generations. Don't overlook education. Don't ignore the politicizing of religious institutions. Protect voting rights. And above all, stop this travesty of democracy called gerrymandering.

I started to have serious hyperventilating episodes after a few hours of work - and getting upset at little work things that normally wouldn't bother me.

This. That's the only message they understand.thr problem is, these idiots are not alone. I. Still sour over what Apple TV did with Jon Stewart.

He will find another home. In the meantime, let's vote with our viewership and subscriptions. CBS and Paramount have abundantly showed us who they are.

It was obviously capitulation. Paramount may want to pretend it's not, but let's say we believe them: why would they cancel the show now? They knew what it would look like to observers and optics matter a great deal in TV. Do they expect us to believe they don't care about optics?

F.D.A. Approves Novavax Covid Vaccine With Stricter New Conditions

This REALLY upsets me. They are messing with my life and the lives of people I love. One dangerous byproduct of Trump's election is putting completely incompetent people in charge of public health, and firing scientists who knew what they were doing. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/17/h...

Playing in harmony, despite the president's DEI executive order
YouTube video by 60 Minutes Playing in harmony, despite the president's DEI executive order

This is glorious. When the DEI prohibition cancelled the opportunity these teens had to play with the US Marine Band, retired musicians stepped in and recorded this amazing concert with the teens. 60 Minutes shared it - now, let's make it viral.

I understand what you say and also understand it's a huge gamble. Respectfully, I vehemently disagree. There is another risk we run - the risk of NOT showing the Democratic Party is united and can fight back. The risk of destroying all hope. Please reconsider your deeply disappointing decision.

I understand what Schumer is saying, but there is something bigger at stake: the soul of the Democratic party. This is the only time Democrats could fight back, and Schumer is abdicating this right because "it could get worse." It WILL get worse if our party doesn't clearly show it has a spine.

Under G.O.P., Congress Cedes Power to Trump, Eroding Its Influence On spending, oversight and other issues, Republican lawmakers have willingly ceded power traditionally reserved for Congress to the Trump White House.

We are watching the erosion of Congress.

Exactly. You can't take someone's money for decades and then say - nope, let's stop that; it's a Ponzi scheme. We are not "opting into" Social Security; the money is simply deducted from our salaries.

Has anyone informed this man that undocumented immigrants can't vote? What on earth is he talking about? And incidentally, Mr. Musk: if you take away Social Security and Medicare when I retire, I want everything I paid into the system for 30 years paid back with interest.

You might think in bloody dictatorships there are tanks everywhere and police invades your home all the time, but dictators MUST keep life reasonably normal for most of the population. They isolate the resistance and convince everyone else resistors are criminals. It's their playbook.
