The amount of effort requires to push through this depression & not just torpedo this weekend's plans is really, really hard. Like, fuck.

What a deal! Perfect way to catch up with the best magazine in the world! I've written so much fun stuff over the last 7 1/2 years and if there's something you love, chances are we've covered it!

I rushed a piece & definitely got a solid talking-to – which was wholly deserved – along with work just being a strange little world for a while. It hasn't felt quite real.

Taking a road trip was the kick in the ass I needed to vacuum out the car, throw away all the trash on the floorboards, clean the interior of the windows, & just generally wipe everything down. Now I am very ready for a shower.

After 8pm tonight, I'm off until 8am Monday morning & recent events have ably demonstrated I very much need the break.
