Update: much as we detest raised doughnuts vs cake doughnuts, the cake basically melted into the liquid, making this doughnut-flavored custard. Don't hate it, but it certainly doesn't have the bready heft I was hoping for.

We bought what might be referred to as "a fucking lot" of clearance doughnuts earlier this week. They're now very dessicated, thus I'm starting my morning making doughnut bread pudding.
