They’re back @PumpCourt with another excellent episode on alienating behaviours. I disagree, however, that manipulation invariably requires intention. It can be an involuntary / unconscious reaction to negative stimuli.
I think they’re marvellous, and they always look like they’re having such fun doing what they do.
I think I’m more thrilled than my youngest child that Steel, the gladiator, is visiting her school on Wednesday next week. An inspiration to them before their sports day.

Love this so much. I’m encouraging child no.1 to gain the confidence to put in for her next belt after brown in karate (2nd kyu) as she has the responsibility of deciding when she is ready. She started at age 4 and I’m so proud of how far she’s come, especially persevering over zoom in Covid.
