That's why I am helping the European Society for Evolutionary Biology @eseb.bsky.social organise a hub conference in 2027 instead of a regular 1 site congress. 4 hubs across Europe so most can travel by train/bus and still meet colleagues in person (website at eseb 2027.org live in August)

Just hours before the end of the early bird, registrations are rapidly going up. We had an overwhelming response to the abstract. call (>2000) and the possibility of reaching the capacity limit is not so unlikely.

So better hurry up to secure your spot at #ESEB2025

The #ESEB Steering Committee met last week in London for two days of meetings and a conference venue visit.

Part of the meeting was held at nearby Down House - home of Charles Darwin! An honour to support this historical location whilst taking care of #society business.
