The F1 catch fences next to the starting grid are now painted black! 🎨
I'd assume this is to help with visibility for the spectators, and to get better photos/videos, as the black paint cuts down hugely on absorbing the sunlight and reflecting it off too!
Testing isn't just for the teams, it's also for the broadcast team!

I reckon when Horner said ‘That will be his decision’ Red Bull wanted him to exit on his own terms to make it look better for himself.
But now after Perez saying ‘I have a contract and I will stick to it.’ it seems like a last attempt to throw it back negatively to Red Bull.
I think it’s also so different to a typical job, and as its one of the highest paid athlete jobs with a incredibly limited capacity - you are aware when going into it that if you don’t perform then you’re open to criticism and future prospects

Williams just can’t catch a break, but it’s part of the gamble of swapping drivers mid-season to a rookie who’s prepared to push the limits to show their worth for a full seat.
