READY TO WALK: Our members at six Gannett newspapers in New York and New Jersey have had enough and voted by 95% to walk off the job. They are fed up with Gannett's
disregard for labor law and refusal to agree to a fair contract after three long years of bargaining.

The statement calls on the administration to lift the ban on the AP. "And the administration must cease punishing news organizations based on their reporting."
