I'm not being facetious about this: people like Joni Ernst mocking others for being scared and vulnerable about losing their health care and telling them instead to 'meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ' are why people like me who left organized Christianity will never go back.

No reason to make anyone needlessly suffer until they do die. That is from the party that shouts their “pro life” rhetoric every time they want your vote.
