The 2018 PREDATOR is the sort of bad movie where if it weren't for what came after I would almost regret taking the time out to watch this series.

Juh-yeeee-zus, and I thought AVPR was bad! At least it didn't have a shit-sized heaping of Hollywood Autism(TM)! Summa the worst I ever seen! Fuckin'—!

"Technically better," I say, before I go and find out how other people have been dumping on this mix. Yeeeaaaah, "Real Love" could've been handled a **lot** better. It's nice to know it's not just me being picky 'coz it's one of my all-time favorite songs.

Y'know, the 2025 mix of "Real Love" is technically better for cleaning up Lennon's voice, but I already know I'll always prefer the original mix for how unclean it sounded. It always loved how sounded like he was breaking through the spirit barrier to embue himself in the song.

Here's a fact: that stripe in Louise's hair isn't dye; it's somehow entirely natural. Actually, if she tries to dye over it, it reappears only a few days later. It's odd, but, hey, it's distinct.

I didn't start anything new with my OCs in the last week, so I'll point out that for the release of the new Gorillaz next year I've been in the process of planning to draw all of my characters in various Noodle outfits like I used to a long time ago (see 2nd image).

On the whole they would. That's maybe a cop out answer, but I can't imagine power turning any of them into a villain. The only one who would be a bad guy is Veronika, and she's already an immature sadomasochist, so it's not like the power would be revealing much.

The only reason Bangs hasn't asked her friend Pauline to loan her the money to get rid of it is that, like ... even just thinking about it makes her feel stupid. And it's not a good reason why she's never asked, but damn if it hasn't been keeping her from trying.

Bangs can't even remember why she got the tramp stamp anymore. The day (or night?) she did is too much of a blur of being young and a heavier drinker. Maybe her girlfriend at the time talked her into it? And if that's true, goodness, give Bangs another reason to wanna ditch it...

It's #LetterboxdFriday again, and as you can see from my #lastfourwatched, my scheduled month is movin' right along (I have ALIENS VS. PREDATOR: REQUIEM to watch later today! Oh boy!). Plus, I managed to slip a lil' GHOSTBUSTERS in there—y'know, as a bonus.

I knew even before reading the original novel that the '87 RUNNING MAN film didn't follow the source marterial terribly close ... but now that I have taken the novel in full: goodness, talk about the word "adaptation" doing a **lot** of lifting.

It feels sort of weird to admit that for **years** I'd thought the movie in the top left was called "House Ghost"—and that I'm only **now** finding out that it's not. No wonder I could never find anything about it.

Well, since you asked: it's this! Figured it'd been a while since I'd drawn Bangs in any kind of workout clothes, so I'm doin' her up in a pose copied from a piece by cosmicseternity. I'll be doing the proper lines and colors shortly.

There's 'boutta be a lot of art drawing Rosalina as Captain Marvel .... which, hey, makes sense; I don't blame 'em ... but dang it, I'm just waiting for the one person who's gonna draw her as Envy Adams.

Somehow I never knew before now that Marvel made STAR TREK comics—and I learn they have with the cover where these two's faces are hogging all of the light and shadow.
