Do you feel like students protesting for Palestine played a major role in Harris losing the election?

I think her failure to win has a lot more to do with American racism and misogyny, the lack of a democratic primary, Biden's weird decision to run for a second term and then drop, and the aforementioned efforts by the Harris campaign deciding to court Republicans.

Haven't met any myself. Seen plenty of Harris voters who held their nose even though she decided to go all in on genocide, immigration enforcement, and Liz Cheney.

I think it's cool that students can find any time to protest, vs. being mad they're not doing it the specific way I want.

Seems a lot more to do with the fact that we have about a billion bad things going on right now vs. just Israel doing a genocide.

The assaults, arrests, and firings protestors suffered and new laws expanding definitions of anti-Semitism and further restricting speech don't help either.

Great, that's what people are talking about when we say it was her job as a political candidate running for office to convince voters to vote for her. Her personal responsibility was to convey information that would help her appear favorably, and she failed in that.

So does Harris have any responsibility here for her failure to win?

I bet it she didn't support the genocide of Palestinians so hard that people who don't like genocide might have felt more comfortable voting for her. That's one example.
