It finally warmed up in the last week or so… and the snow finally slid off the back of the house. Shoveling a bit this fine March 2nd afternoon so that I don’t have snow up against the art studio window. Spring is coming though… in like a month :)

I’ve been keeping this blog (www.erikbrooks.com) since 2005 and will put in a little extra time this month to spruce it up! A quick new header is in place to reflect a pivot from Instagram and Facebook. I’m ramping my illustration work back up again and can take this chance to try some new things.

Testing how the @bsky.app format deals with my typical #comic posts. It felt right as well to start with the first week of the #newyear #hartspasscomics and there’s a little social media bent to this one as well :) #grrr

SO late to trying this and we’ll see if I have the patience or desire to stick with it :) I make regular weekly #comic posts to my website/blog and after the last 6+ years of really digging in on my #teaching and #coaching work I’m excitedly adding some kid’s book illustrating back into the mix!
