If You've Asked ChatGPT a Legal Question, You May Have Accidentally Doomed Yourself in Court
Sam Altman has admitted that ChatGPT conversations can be used against you in court if they are subpoenaed.
"If you’re pasting in contracts, asking legal questions, or asking [the chatbot] for strategy, you're not getting legal advice…You’re generating discoverable evidence. No attorney-client privilege. No confidentiality. No ethical duty. No one to protect you."

Once everything is an ai chatbot it is trivial to rewrite history and monitor all interactions… it don’t really see the difference between slopification and surveillance capitalism

Detail of an AI generated image, showing what looks like US soldiers in desert camouflage alongside with an antique Roman mob and maybe some gladiators? It's a mess …
The groypers running the White House's social media accounts have posted yet another piece of fascist Trump AI slopaganda which I won't reproduce here in full. However, the Gladiator-esque backdrop of US soldiers in desert camouflage holding back the pseudo-Roman crowd is quite fascinating

Preventing Woke AI in the Federal Government
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered: Section 1. Purpose.
Much funding in the justice & human rights sectors pivoted to "AI for good" and working with tech companies, weakening the work on important critical education and preventing harm. AI companies promised many fantasies they will NOT deliver. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...

I think a lot of people mistake chatbots for the business model. Chatbots are free or cross-subsidized treats to entrap customers into sharing valuable data. The real AI is the AI hiding behind the chatbot that sifts through everything you say and comes up with ways to get you to buy stuff.

Training an AI isn’t even digital programming. Programming is the part where you implement the model architecture. Programming is an even worse metaphor for what evolution does and an even worse metaphor for the cultural and individual diversity that changes at a rate faster than genetic changes.

Auschwitz I began as a concentration camp and forced labor camp in 1940. By 1942 Auschwitz II developed into a killing center. After 4 gas chambers were completed in 1943, the exterminations at Auschwitz intensified, resulting in over 1.1 million dead.

Good thing about small models is they can fit inside google colab notebooks and you can peel them apart layer by layer. That’s what we do with gpt 2
