Just in time for No Kings on 3/28, ICC will hold a public meeting entitled "Get Ready for Rally Season: Protest Preparedness 101."
Called "hope lady" by her friends, progressive author Rebecca Solnit spoke to the New York Times this past week. "Even the right tells us something encouraging," she says. "... They tell us: You are very powerful. You’ve changed the world profoundly.

We sang, chanted, swayed, and laughed as we learned wonderful protest songs. All in preparation for our big No Kings Rally on March 28.

Yesterday 25 like-minded folks chose to be indoors to participate in ICC’s Singing Resistance. Thanks to organizers Gail Bundy, Jacki Chapman, Margo Holley and Colleen Kattau, our sound guy Brian Fitz and Pastor Jenn for letting us use the beautiful Grace Space and Holy Spirit Church.

Today 50+ folks showed up for our pop-up rally, with wonderful signs, great singing and, as always, an indomitable spirit! There’s no doubt about it: CORTLAND ROCKS! And we also noted that gas prices have gone up just a little!
