Yep, and the guys who turned out decent in the Soto deal are already on the block. Difference between 2012 and now is at least the Nationals spent money to bolster the young lineup. Now they seem committed to pushing the reset button. Again.

That’s the thing about rebuilds. It’s easy to start. Not easy to get out of it.

Definitely have to worry more about generating offense the rest of the way. Clearly limiting what the Canes do in their end and not generating many shots is a tough way to win the series.
