Make that coverage of women's events in general. On Saturday there was no broadcast of the women's 3000m short track relay on NBC, USA or CNBC, but there was men's short track, men's hockey, other men's events and a whole freaking afternoon of curling. And a few women's snowboarding and the like

I was unfamiliar with the article, and I read the book so long ago -- sometime between 1971-75 -- I'd never even heard of nor would I ever have made a Radley-autism connection. The answer was a complete surprise to me

Sorry for the poli-sci jargon, but this is more horseshit from Trump. Issuing an executive order instead of getting Congress to change the law would be nothing more than an exercise in writing political fanfic; everyone should feel free to point and laugh at Trump's impotent rage over this.

Meanwhile we see folk like Mamdani win big by running to the left, and folk in Texas win on abolishing ICE. "Leftist" policies are popular. We don't win elections by abandoning what we believe in because a consultant told us to, we win by speaking to the people and inspiring them to vote for us.

The consultant class is mired in the past and needs to STFU

If you are grandfathered in to Ring you can turn off all the settings for Police and “pet” surveillance permissions, which are of course default on. Control Center —> public safety and Control Center —> Search Party (this is the one from the Super Bowl ad)

I know this sounds simplistic, but it is a very good thing that the Trump administration is now squarely on the defensive - about ICE, but also about most things - and it’s great that Dems are sustaining the pressure. Credit where it’s due.
