It feels like they were setting up Judy to have these character flaws of over -eagerness and savior complex to a fault where she can't even save or hear her own partner, except the forgot to write the payoff where she *learns that lesson*.This gives the impression that all of her flaws are not flaws

You know what'd be a compelling story to follow up the thinly veiled allegory for racism?

A hamfisted allegory for racism with even less tact or nuance!

And let's make Judy the Good Cop (tm) always right, and Nick, her equal, the on screen equivalent of both a punching bag and a joke mascot

We get Judy Fuckface and Nick The Cuck

AND SHE NEVER APOLOGIZES. SHE LIKE, GASLIGHTSPLAINS WHY SHE DID WHAT SHE DID, BUT TOOK NO OWNERSHIP FOR, IDUNNO, ALMOST KILLING THEM BOTH MULTIPLE TIMES AND WANTING TO DO THE RIGHT THING?

Fucking PAWBERT got more character development this whole movie.

And then the moral of the story isn't, "Wow, maybe Judy overfocusing on the case was super toxic to the point of her sacrificing Nick to get it done, I hope she changes", it's"Let's gaslight Nick into believing Judy's 'hero heart' was in the right place this entire time, and his reason is cowardice"

So, Judy was objectively the most toxic person the entire movie. Nick took *nothing* but L's. He was shut down at every chance, and was just passive, especially when she *endangered their lives*. He gets CAUGHT, and she doesn't even think about him once.

Controversial opinion, but holy SHIT I hated the new Zootopia movie.

BUT ☝🏼 the Kronk horse-sona, lynx boytoy, and like every other fur is extremely fuckable, as always, so
