Sitting in a beautiful cafe in Manchester working on the design of #Blakes7 Production Diary Series C. I’m about a quarter of the way through Chapter 5 (of 5). We’re getting there!

I recently tried to recreate the cover of the first issue of #Blakes7 Magazine from scratch. I think it turned out OK. Jonathan and I will be working on a brand new issue of the magazine once we have the Series C Production Diary done.

Happy 50th Birthday, Rentaghost👻 I had such an affection for this show when I was little. And also for Michael Staniforth's Timothy Claypole, who was a cheeky presence in my childhood for years. A blu-ray collection would be wonderful, and a doc on Michael's life would be most welcome. #Rentaghost

To show off the difference in heft of the Series B book, the two diaries are stood upright on a table back-to-back.

Here’s the conclusion of he explosive special effects story that was mentioned in an earlier toot. “The cameras start rolling, and Pegrum presses the detonation button. Suddenly, an enormous ball of fire shoots into the air, far larger than anyone expected. The wind, unfortunately, begins to blow it towards the crew who are watching. Godfrey pans his camera upwards, but the fireball is so massive he can't find the top of it. Realising the danger, Godfrey quickly abandons the camera and runs just as the fireball engulfs it. When he returns later, he discovers that the camera has stopped working, its wiring and battery cables melted by the intense heat.”
