Wrapped up my postdoc in the @broderickflylab.bsky.social last week. Grateful for the science, @nabroderick.bsky.social mentorship, and the chance to mentor an outstanding group of undergrads! Bittersweet goodbye, but I leave with deep gratitude for the friendships that shaped my time in the lab.

Bittersweet week in the lab as we wished congrats and safe travels to postdoc @krystalmayam.bsky.social who returns to Mexico to start her own lab at CINVESTAV! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll do with her future trainees. She’s been an excellent mentor to a group of undergrads.

Program note on poster number 816T and the annual fly meeting. The title is the interplay of the gut microbiome and diet on oogenesis.

Sadly had to cancel travel to #Dros25. Will miss the science & catching up w/colleagues. @taylarmouton.bsky.social will rep the lab at Poster 816T. Taylar and @dreadarby.bsky.social are also hosting a workshop Fri PM on the impact & history of bias on STEM teaching. Go learn and support them!
