Why the hell are so many liberals on here whitewashing Obama's horrible immigration policies? They laid the foundation for Trump's fascism. He expanded privatized detention centers (concentration camps). ACLU also sued him dozens of times for suspending due process.

He LITERALLY did. Not as much as Trump has now. But, he helped to develop the privatized immigration detention centers. He had concentration camps too...bud. Were you guys all asleep under his horrible immigration policies, or what?
What the actual f is this? You're celebrating mass deportations and Obama's horrific immigration policy as if it's a win? It's part of the reason Trump has so much power today. Obama helped set the buttresses of our current fascism, and people like you cheer it on. Gross.
Obama's admin also killed and terrorized people. The ACLU sued him dozens of times. He had a horrifically inhumane immigration policy. Whitewashing it helped give us Trump.

Obama ALSO HAD CAMPS. Were people asleep, or just not paying attention? Trump's camps are literally modeled after Obama's. His practices were horrible. Not out outward facing as Trump, but still inhumane. Jesus.

That's not true, though. Trump is horrible and worse, but why lie about Obama? Or are you just uninformed? The ACLU had MANY cases against Obama for skirting due process. Please stop whitewashing his horrible immigration record. It's not necessary.

Also, did you ever see DPAL? And, there were mass protests against Obama's immigration policies, and violence did break out at the hands of law enforcement. Trump has escalated. But, let's not pretend like state-sanctioned violence didn't exist then. It did.
Obama was sued dozens of times by the ACLU for inhumane practices. Hell, an investigation into CBP/ICE from 2014 showed that agents were stepping in front of cars to justify shooting drivers.
We don't have to whitewash Obama's record to fight Trump's fascism. Ignoring it helped get us here.
