I’m chuffed to announce β€˜Chris George: 50 Years of Faces Photography Exhibition’.
I’m incredibly grateful to Helen Glencross and the Guernsey Museum team and my colleagues at the @guernseypress.com for making this project possible.

I also think football has the most replay value of any sport. There’s enough variety to the way goals can be scored, and enough scarcity, that they’re pretty much always of interest. It’s basically the perfect highlight factory.

Loving the pod, guys. Couple of things to add. One, I think a big part of the growth to dominance of football in the last 10-20 years is the number of offshoot activities that all feed the machine. FPL, gaming (FIFA + FM) and gambling being the main ones. Football just has so many hooks.

@footballcliches.bsky.social Yamal’s goal celebration there warrants some discussion. High fives, dance routine, boot cleaning, multiple hand gestures… must be some sort of record for number of distinct actions within a single celebration?

Seriously, it's Bafta-worthy stuff. You must listen.
