had a cool new fun happy life event happen the past few days and I hope I can write about it soon once some more details are finalized

Once it's July, I already start thinking the end of the year is right around the corner.

The reality is we look at our keyboards (even in our peripheral vision) almost everyday, and there's a tingly good feeling in the brain to not see all the grime and dust on the face and all sides of the keycaps.

Taking a leap here, but I'm booked and going back to TwitchCon next month for the first time after 7 years.

Content is whatever. Just looking to hang out and have a good time in San Diego with friends 🙏~

Cooked dinner for my parents and me today.

That one big pile is supposed to be ground beef, potatoes, eggs, and cheese, but came nowhere close to how I imagined it... Tastes fine though.

I don't want to speak about my unspoken battles, but I unreasonably wish to feel seen. I hate this turmoil.

I've been working a lot on boundaries at my current job compared to my last job, but there's one area I still struggle with: I still don't let myself leave for the day until after my manager is gone 😩

Me: My roommate had an encounter with a guy trying to sell CDs.

--: CDs... nuts.

Me: ...?

--: Oh I thought you were setting up a "Deez Nuts" joke you were actually talking about CDs!!!

Me: girl you have so much brainrot

Missing several rounds of coffee and two evenings of hot pot, but all in all, my PAX West diet comprised of steak, potatoes, burgers, hot pot, coffee, rum, and wine.

Going to try and eat vegetables for a few days while keeping my bank account afloat. 😂

📍 Tidal+ at the Olive 8. Was a quick decision for dinner one evening, but I came here for the first time two years ago, and I have fond memories here.

📍 Nana's Green Tea, best known for their matcha, which I'm not a fan of, but this black sesame brown sugar latte was AMAZING.

📍 Billiard Hoang, group dinner with a close circle of friends. Vietnamese food at a pool hall, and despite all the people that showed up, we never got around to play billiards or pool...

📍 The Metropolitan Grill, catching up with a long-time friend I used to play WoW with. So wonderful and I'm glad I went here. Only came by during lunch but would love to try again for dinner.

📍 The Alibi Room, for late-night pizza and dessert. Was open until 2am!

📍 The Nest, a rooftop bar over at the Thompson Hotel. My second time here, but I've grown to adore this place and love taking my friends out here.

📍 Chan Seattle. Modern Korean cuisine which was heckin' delightful.
