I don't necessarily agree that English is a simpler language, its nuances are just expressed differently.
Take their example of "ore, boku, etc" all translating to "I".
Someone boisterous and egotistical might refer to themselves in third person, or someone more timid might say "well, I" or stutter
The worst peopleβ’οΈon the other site have been using this article to bolster their anti-localization agenda which makes it really clear that they didn't read it.
Direct machine translations from one language to another will lose certain details.
It basically argues against their agenda.
