Robinson was the only one i think was just unlucky timing. We had Baines in his prime and Digne at the club at this point. We're horrific at developing the young players though. Moise Kean, Lookman, Robinson, Cho all went on to have good careers. We can't do the same with Barry, Dibbling and Aznou.

Exactly this Stu. Just because a player isn’t ready straight away doesn’t mean they’re not a good buy. We actually need the club to do their job and develop him.

Dibbling needs to start getting minutes and integrated. Ndiaye is off to afcon in January and he will be needed to step up and create. Same with Alcaraz needing more minutes. The squad will need rotating and we have options for the first time. We need to use them.

He’s a defensive midfielder and one of the best in the world at it too mate. Offensively weak but defensively the best in the league.

I can’t have a team without Gana in it mate personally. He’s our only defensive midfielder and we’d get walked through without him. Was off it yesterday but is vital for us still. Just my opinion though!

Saw it yesterday and this is not a coming together. Gana wins the ball. Kudus is nowhere near it and takes him out. Only question i have would be does Gana lose control of the ball after the header.

If we take Gana out of our midfield we get walked through. He was off it yesterday but lets not forget none of Spurs’ goals were his fault in any way. The midfield limited them to set pieces. Our defending from set pieces and lack of a finisher let us down. Gana had an off day but was still okay.

Seen Merlin Rohl for a few cameos now. What does everyone think? IF we can get him injury free i’d be starting him next to Gana and move Garner to right back.

Agreed mate. He’s maturing his game and looks a premier league midfielder playing in the championship now. This is why we need to be loaning more of our youngsters early!

We always have a nightmare xmas fixture list and weirdly it’s where we do our best! January without Ndiaye and Gueye is worrying. Our main creator and only defensive midfielder gone for afcon will leave us short.

Really happy to see Armstrong thriving at Preston. Another really productive loan that’s improving him. Come next year he’ll be a mainstay in our team.

Got to disagree Liam mate. He was well off it yesterday but on the whole most of our attacks have gone through him and for me has been one of our best signings. Would like to see more rotation with Alcaraz though.

Do think it’s time to have a serious discussion about Tarky. Defended him for a while but he’s been pretty dire this season so far. Hoped Branthwaite coming back would solve it but i would move Garner to rb and put Jake in there now.
