We'll definitely be singing this at today's (freezing cold) demonstrations in Boston, esp. the refrain of "No pasaran, no pasaran... We ran the fascists out & we'll do it again tomorrow." Billy Bragg has truly carried the torch of Woody Guthrie into the 21st century.

I keep reminding myself that tho I need to use historical lessons to fuel me in this fight, I needn't assume that the situation is doomed to repeat History entirely. I'm trying to draw upon history as impetus but pausing my mind before it falls into paralyzing Fatalism. This works for a good minute.
