The U.S. - Canada trade and security relationship is the definition of mutually beneficial. Let’s not damage it, nor destroy the jobs Canadian and American workers, with tariffs of any kind.

And that oil and gas is sold at a discount to U.S. refineries where over 1 million American workers triple its value by turning that oil and gas into fuel, plastics and other products that U.S. companies sell all over the world.

Did you know the United States has a $53 billion trade surplus with Canada when our oil and gas is excluded?

Wishing them both all the very best as they go through their confirmation hearings and look forward to working with both to secure North American energy dominance.

We are doing our part here in Alberta, so Its time for the Feds to step up and cancel the carbon tax which will instantly reduce the price of utilities, groceries, and fuel for everyone.

We’re proud that Albertans pay the lowest overall taxes in Canada, including lower income taxes, no PST, no payroll tax or health premiums-

-and our government is working towards bringing in more income tax relief in 2025 to continue to help Alberta families keep more money in their pockets.

We discussed shared priorities between Alberta and Hawaii such as wildfire management, tourism, and expanding energy trade with affordable hydrogen and LNG.

Chatted with @Varneyco of FOX business about how we can make gasoline prices more affordable for our American friends by building new pipelines to US refineries.

Thanks to everyone who joined the conversation. Your insights and partnership are invaluable as we continue to make Alberta the best place to live, work, and do business.

But we also tackled the challenges ahead, including federal overreach and the importance of standing up for Alberta’s energy sector. The message was clear: Alberta is ready to lead, innovate, and protect our future prosperity.

We discussed Alberta’s unmatched economic momentum—82,000 private-sector jobs added, record investments in energy and tech, and a $4.6 billion surplus thanks to fiscal responsibility.

This morning, I had the privilege of speaking with Alberta’s brightest business leaders at the Young Presidents’ Organization event. Thank you to Ashif Mawji for the kind introduction and for your incredible leadership in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Alberta will not stand by while the Feds trample on our rights or our energy sector. We stand firmly with the Alberta Enterprise Group (AEG) and the Independent Contractors and Business Association (ICBA) in their constitutional fight against this draconian legislation.
