I had it on PSX and don’t remember any of it. Definitely didn’t finish it. So did Leon first run and Claire 2nd was different enough to push through the tedium of the sewers.

God, Warcraft 2 was fucking amazing. We had a Mac growing up so it was rare to get a multi-plat release. Coincidentally I fondly remember the original actual Marathon - although I think I played Marathon II: durandal

All I’ll say is - Elden Ring is so damn good. Ok another thing to say - I really enjoy your posts and the retro gaming. Thank you so much for how you move through and write about gaming.

It probably would’ve been different if I watched Warfare first. Civil War was just so good. Warfare was fine / really dull. Frankly they shouldn’t be compared to one another in any way - totally different movies. I did LOVE “Call on Me” though 😬

Looks cool! Also made me want to give disco elysium another go. I crapped out after a few hours and didn’t really like it.

I really liked 7 and I loooooooved 8. 2 was great as Leon. For Claire 2nd I think I’m just bored of the repeat areas. There’s enough novelty there in the police hq and orphanage but not after that.

I thought Kena was a decent 7/10. I played on easy bc I’m not trying to master combat like that. Having each zone require the same formulaic sub objectives was annoying but overall it was a decent play.

Yeah idk why. I think it felt very very slow and things happen nonsensically (to me). The peak Ghibli movies all nail the pacing. To be fair, I thought Mononoke was like 7 or 8/10. Definitely needs another watch though.

Yea I’ll wait til HDD2U is on streaming but I thought it was great and well done. Hadn’t watched Wonder Man. Is it good? It just seems so pointless. I’m still riding the high of Andor s2. I thought Civil War would be too much but I really loved it.

Yeah the HLTB listing has pushed me off so may games. I’m on ch 5 of death stranding 1 at like 30 hours and it flew by.

Oh and the Pragmata demo was pretty neat. The movement speed feels very sluggish - but the real-time “hacking” bit while simultaneously being attacked actually was decent and not super disrupting. Could get VERY old having to do it for literally every enemy. Hope they’d let you level it up for auto
