Demolishing part of the White House, gilding the rest, and shitting on the American people are all apt metaphors for this administration.

Thank you for all of this information, but I'm not gonna lie - it was really hard to keep reading, and I didn't even do any deep diving. It's all so unbelievably horrible. I remember reading about some of this a few months ago, but there's just been way too MUCH to take it all in. :/

This is a pretty convincing voice of reason. I hope it will find some of the people it needs to find.

One thing this has accomplished is that we have proven that we won't be stopped by fear. They tried to paint it that there would be riots, with National Guard stepping in to control it. We didn't stay home. You SAVE democracy by exercising your RIGHTS. We did that today, big time.

Absolutely NOT true! This helps to wake people up. Remember how many people don't even VOTE? People are coming out of their slumber. I saw a sign today that said something like "I don't usually protest, but things are ridiculous!"& I had productive conversations with people about other steps to take

I think that feeling of community registered for a lot of people across the country. We kind of 'know each other' even if we've never met, because there is a sort of commonality that shows up at times like these. And the light show IS awesome! Well done, indeed.

Seattle No Kings from the monorail

You have to really wonder just how sick he truly is, to post something like this and think it makes him look GOOD. It obviously does the opposite, and he seriously needs help - AND to be removed from that position. Good god.

Awwww...that was nice to see. I JUST posted a couple of photos, and I have my posts set to remind me to DO that, so I did. Yes, it takes a little effort, but if it even makes ONE person feel more included, it is SO worth it! <3

It was a productive talk, where we explored what REALLY needs to be done, beyond the march. I really can't summarize all we covered, but he was obviously SO informed, the conversation was intense, but SO good, and it gave me both hope, and some things to focus on. THAT was the best 'moment'

My favorite moment? It was after the adrenaline rush of all the good feelings, when I saw someone with a sign I hadn't seen before, calling out the dictator giving $20 - 40 BILLION dollars (ILLEGALLY!) to Argentina. I had to stop and talk with this young man, and I'm so glad I did.

I didn't take photos, but marched right behind an incredible band of drummers. Eugene, OR was at its best, and paid homage to what's going on in Portland. MANY frogs attended, along with an amazing display of fantastic inflated animales, and clowns 'walking' on their hands. BUT....
