I teach EL Intermediate, and generally it is my sts' 2nd year in the US. Black History is US history, so we read stories throughout the year, but especially during February! So far we've read about Rihanna, Sam Barnes & the Golden 13, Mae Jemison, and the Scottsboro 9. #t2tchat #edusky
What breaks my heart this week? Former students, loving young moms, asking me to sign papers saying that I could take care of their baby and help them reunite if they get deported. 💔 I hate that this is real.
