Apparently there’s a “kickoff” meeting between the DOGE people and Department of Labor management planned for tomorrow at 4pm ET.

Unrelatedly, the Frances Perkins Building that houses the Dept of Labor is located at 200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20210.

I arrive at 6:55pm and I’m only there for 3 hrs so it might be a bit tight but I have global entry and such. I can send you my flight info. Where do you work at the airport?

Here’s another where I had to adjust the lighting to make the photo accurate to how I actually saw it, versus the iPhone auto-exposure.
The lighting was much warmer toned in the building at the far end beyond the bridge. I would need to edit it more for accuracy. It was a stunning view.

Took some night photos. The first is what it looked like to me; second is how my iPhone auto-exposed it which, while VERY WELL DONE if I had wanted to see these details, is not the actual effect I wanted at the moment lol (excellent quality tho because it was SO DARK).

Last night at my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at so I’m forcing myself to stay up with a pot of coffee and enjoy the beautiful lounge with some books instead of going to sleep early like usual (tomorrow I switch to a cheaper hotel 😔✊).
