@juliemason.bsky.social
Have you had Bill on lately? I miss him and haven't heard from in a long time.
@juliemason.bsky.social I know I'm a day late on this and already outside the USA. But if I had to leave Canada due to a horrible election my choice would be Vietnam. Easy to get into and my money would go far.
Btw life isn't a Binary. You have more than 2 options. You can always just chose to not support evil at all, rather than the lesser evil.
Yes we're the bad guys because we believe that human rights should be foundational and defend without hesitation or limitation.
Nice of them to do something. Now try defending the rights of people unconditionally. Not putting limits on people's rights because of what you might fear is unpopular.
This is driving me batty. If a person transitions because they think it will make them happy, and then they don't detransition and report that they *are* happy with the outcome, what other possible metrics are there to indicate whether the transition worked or not
That's only 2 years before I was born.
Biden has done nothing on abortion rights or LGBTQ rights. So you want to talk about evil look at who you're supporting.
So far Biden hasn't cared. Hasn't taken any action to stand up Palestinians. He doesn't care.
Yes.
I wasn't trying to troll. I honestly just don't find the over the tip recording myself shit to be bad. I also don't find it bad to point out other people's reactions to that shit. But yeah lololololol imma trollπ

So you believe they'd never have posted the video had the person just not looked over?
I'm also just noticing I've been blocked on the original post. None of my comments are showing up on my own feed. So I probably haven't seen the other threads you're referring to.
Maybe it isn't. But I've also never had anyone ask permission to record themselves if I was in the background of what they were recording or taking a picture of. Maybe that's normal behaviour to do that but I've never encountered it.
Cool.
I commented on what I originally saw and am replying to replies I feel like.
Circumstances matter?
If I do something and shove a camera in your face that's obviously wrong. If I set up my camera and catch you in the background, not wrong in my opinion.
Cause obviously if she lost her job or had people sending her death threats or some dumb shit I'd change my opinion?
Yes. So the question would be. Was she planning this a head of time. Did she record it 4 or 5 times so she could catch that reaction. How could she have known that reaction was coming?
Seems to me that she set up her camera to record herself being over the top. Capturing the reaction was by chance
Well for the record, I dont know if they had permission or not. I've not heard a word about the girl in the background. Or anything about her really. If her reaction to the situation is out there and I haven't seen it yet obviously I'd listen to it.
Was the original post not about how it's wrong to record people's reactions? Or have I completely misunderstood this situation?
If the tik tokker had permission from the person in the background. All the talk about why it's "wrong" is invalidated isn't?
Exaggeration to make myself laugh.
The actual criticism is its wrong to not have permission. Which is still wild to me.
Rarely these days, used to a fair bit more.
No I guess my world is just very different from everyone else's. I've never been asked nor have I asked people if its okay to record in a restaurant.
Awww you think I'm prettyπ
No lmfao. When I record myself or friends I don't go around asking people of they're okay with it. I'm doing my own shitπ€£
I cannot wait to see you beat the fuck out of everyone at a restaurant tonight for pulling out a phone.
