Tristan Felix B. (@tristiger.bsky.social) not just translates manga, but Japanese novels as well! He's done works by Tomihiko Morimi, important trans titles like To Strip the Flesh and Until I Love Myself, and the underrated Kaori Ozaki work Mermaid Prince, to name a few!

「パレスチナと猫」写真展、今度は2026年3/14（土)〜 4/5(日)、erimaki（愛媛県松山市）にて開催頂きます。西岸でも占領の暴力が続いている。イスラエルによるイランへの攻撃後、村や町がより厳しい封鎖下に。猫たちのまなざしから、その地のいとなみに触れ、誰かと語るきっかけになれば。

NPO法人子ども支援センター つなっぐ つなっぐは、中立的に多機関多職種と連携しながら、「司法面接」「系統的全身診察」「こころのケア」を行う”子どものためのワンストップセンター(CAC:Childrenʼs Advocacy Center)”です。子どもの権利を擁護し、子どもが自分自身を大切にした暮らしができるように被害直後から中長期にわたり、ワンストップでアウトリーチに活動します。

あんまり元気がなくて連日の例の件についてうまく言及できずにいたんだけど

取り急ぎ、子どもの性被害のサポートに取り組んでいる「認定NPO法人子ども支援センターつなっぐさん」にささやかながら寄付をしました🙏

Having to fix AI/machine translation is more work than just translating from scratch.

Every professional translator I know has the same position on this and can easily explain the reasons for it when asked. The fact that executives don't even bother to ask and force translators to work on AI/MTL slop regardless makes it clear where their priorities lie: money trumps quality.
