Just going to say, I've been around the block a few times. I've worked with and observed brilliant people, and they deserve our awe. Then there are the clever ones who've found a way to get rich. They worm their way into the establishment, but as far as I'm concerned, it's all a gimmick. Meh.

It gives me chills. I haven't seen a political animal like Mamdani since Barack Obama, although AOC comes close. No wonder the establishment (talking to you, Bill Ackman) is in a panic.

In 1990, I rented a moving truck and drove across the country from Wilmington, DE, to the SF Bay Area, where I settled in Marin. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. Where the prevailing mindset had been to fit in and conform at all costs, suddenly diverse expression was *celebrated*. Beautiful!

Did anyone really expect a wackadoodle like Donald Trump to have the capacity to take a thorny problem like Middle East peace and tie it up with a pretty bow and wrapping paper and think it'd be finished? I mean, really???

It's the least I can do. I try to support orgs like Democracy Docket, ProPublica and Montana Free Press with a recurring monthly donation. It's not much, but they can count on it, and if millions do the same, it does add up. A thought.

When petty crime surges--because after all, starving people get desperate--will anyone blame Trump? Nah, it'll give him the excuse to bring in the troops to "quell the violence." OMG, we're so screwed.

That should be the first line of his obituary.

For one thing, the few swing states get all the attention from candidates, while the rest are left out altogether. Elections for POTUS should be pitched to all of us, not just the critical few.

It's time to speak the truth. Trump is either too stupid to realize he's being played by Putin or he's playing along. Either way, he's not fit to be POTUS. Putin is a war criminal, who's been cosseted and elevated by Trump for years.
