It’s Fall Break and teachers/school staff have the whole week off. The District admins have sent 19 emails since 4pm last Friday. I’m off and I refuse to read any of them. See you next week.

I’m on year 22 and it’s the worst year yet, but I can’t afford to retire. Plus who knows what’s going to happen when the 🍊🤡 takes over.

My father-in-law contracted mad cow from eating infected beef overseas. Watching his brain turn to mush as he slowly died was horrible.

My daughter started subbing last year. It is hard work. She is mostly at my school, I teach 5th grade. Yesterday, she won SUB OF THE MONTH for the whole district. I’m so proud of her!! 🥰

Too many of them didn’t touch a book in high school either.

This does NOTHING to help the people who were harmed.

This is a very hard school year for me. 28 5th graders, 2 BIG behavior kids, 4 who never turn anything in, several crazy parents. Thank gawd for my amazing teaching partner and my great admin team. 😩

This is great! But you know what would be better? If parents would actually parent their kids and stop expecting the schools (and everyone else) to raise their kids.
