I haven't been attempting to artificially inflate streams or anything. I don't even care about streaming services I only distribute my music to make it more accessible. what the hell do I do about this. from what I've read it doesn't seem like like I can appeal it

a couple weeks ago my Cascade EP was pulled from streaming services. I contacted support and they just got back to me that the reason is "artificial streaming patterns" so I guess for some reason someone was botting my music. so cascade EP is just gone from streaming I guess

i genuinely had a nightmare like this once when i was like 11

this is my punishment for not backing up my old sfx folder. my assumption that i can just redownload it off freesound dot org at any time was a fallacy. the things i go through just to get an hd re-export of an old track

opened an old project file and got a warning for a missing sound. try to find it on freesound but the creator deleted their account. spent the next 4 HOURS tracing it down. nearly settle for just using the low quality preview from web archive. friend finds it mirrored on some chinese website. ??????

ive been thinking of putting a bunch of my old music on bandcamp but soundcloud doesnt let you download the original files of old tracks when over the free track limit anymore so i just cannot access the full quality versions of them anymore for some reason
